Wilson Antonio Valdéz was born onMay 20, 1978 in Nizao, Peravia, Dominican Republic. Wilson Valdez is a Major League Baseball shortstop currently playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Wilson Valdez made his MLB debut with the Chicago White Sox in September 2004 after having also spent time in the Montreal Expos and Florida Marlins organizations. Wilson Valdez played with the Seattle Mariners organization for the start of 2005, including with the Mariners MLB team. Wilson Valdez was traded to the Padres in June 2005. Wilson Valdez was signed by the Kansas City Royals on November 18, 2005.
